Qualifications and Education: Degree qualified (ideally in Quantity Surveying, Business Management, Engineering, and Marketing) or similar is essential. Specified Qualifications for position: An individual who produces work that is consistent, high quality and accurate is essential. Continuing Professional Development: Ability to demonstrate and / or show willingness to develop them as appropriate to the job role is essential. Skills Technical (including IT): Preparation of pre-qualifications and tenders in accordance with the Business Management System (BMS). Assist in the pursuit of future business in accordance with BMS. Prepare accurate and economic costing of tenders with due regard to competitor positions and market trends. Organise the workload of the tender team, within budget and in time for the necessary approvals to be obtained. To ensure commonality of approach and cross learning. Liaison with legal, tax, project operations, engineering and support teams to obtain their input throughout the life of the tender. Preparation of internal tender authorisation papers, presentations and documents. Negotiation of terms and conditions of tenders with customers and suppliers to achieve the best commercial position. Assist in the improvement of working practices of the department. Maintain appropriate records and data during the tender process to ensure a proper and efficient handover to project teams. Provide business planning and reporting assistance to the Tendering Manager. Receive functional guidance, direction and advice from the Tendering Manager. Good negotiation skills and the ability to articulate views in a comprehensive and concise manner is essential. Interpersonal: Awareness of the implications of fiscal considerations is essential. QUALIFICATION: B.E. Mechanical. Diploma or equivalent in Material Management. SKILL: Materials Management Responsibilities: • Support the integration of the Materials Common Process and the Materials Control Process (MCP) into the operations teams. • Work with the Material Coordination Team to develop the annual maximum value for the GoM storehouses. • Provide guidance and assistance to all operations related to materials management, procurement and logistics issues, as well as challenging all existing practices. • Assist in the reconciliation of newly completed projects and establish equipment records. Ensure property records match financial recordings in SAP. • Create and maintain SAP material records and ensure that material transfers are prepared for equipment movements, dispositions and abandonment’s. • Assist in vendor site inventories of GoM materials ensuring visibility and challenge rationalization of surplus equipment. Also assist with consolidation efforts, • Coordinate usage of surplus material on new projects or for equipment replacement. • Ensure compliance, with established audit control points of operating agreements. • Work with the Tax Department for annual Ad Valorum inventories and valuations • Work with the Focus on full utilization of the ERP solutions & system, ensuring timely updates of material movements. • Work with Inventory Team to determine existing inventory and ensure that this information is loaded into Focus databases. • Work with the Backbone team on integration of the materials management function • Special Projects as assigned
